Virginia Ann Alley, age 79, of Marysville, died Friday, February 10, 2023 at Urbana Health and Rehabilitation Center. A graduate of Hilliard High School, she worked at the Marysville Community Market and Krogers in the bakery departments. She enjoyed making jewelry and watching the Antique Road Show. She especially liked attending her son’s music gigs and playing with her great-grandchildren. She was born November 14, 1943 in Pickaway County, Ohio to the late Rollie and Ruth Daniels Brown. The last of five children, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Charlie, John, Ella and Ina. She is survived by her children, William “Scott” Alley of Marysville, Teresa Collins of West Jefferson and Michael (Tabbie) Alley of Indiana; her grandchildren, Jessica (Austin) Arms, Tommy (Teanna) Alley and Casey Lewis-Alley; her great-grandchildren, Braxton, Payton, Warren, Henry and Oliver; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Underwood Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Marysville.
