Violet Robinson, age 60, of Marysville, died unexpectedly Tuesday, February 11, 2021 at her home. She was a retired associate of Honda of America East Liberty plant for over 14 years. A graduate of Waverly High School, she was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church. Violet enjoyed playing Xbox with her grandson, Broden. She will be remembered for her devotion and love for her family, her fierce independence, passion for life and generosity. She was born August 3, 1960 in Pike County to the late Conn and Willa Mae Salyers Chandler. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Nichole Elizabeth Robinson; and her siblings, Mary Sandra Chandler, Dovie Rider, Eileen Short, Connie Chandler, Jenny Chandler, Robert “Bob” Chandler, John Chandler, Esther Chandler, Eddie Chandler, Ivan Chandler and Joy Chandler. She is survived by her sons, Gary H. Robinson of Columbus and Nicholas A. Robinson of Marysville; a grandson, Broden Robinson; a sister, Debbie Newberry; a brother, Larry Chandler; her husband of 30 years, Gary F. Robinson; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Underwood Funeral Home where the family will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m. Pastor Chad Pumpelly will officiate and burial will be beside her daughter at Oakdale Cemetery.
