Verna Louise Morgan, age 81, of Marysville, died peacefully Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Hospice at Riverside Kobacker House in Columbus. She was a retired associate of Ranco in Plain City. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Marysville. She and her late husband, George, resided in Lillian, Alabama for many years where they liked fishing and square dancing together. She was known for her spunkiness and colorful opinions. Born June 3, 1939 in Champaign County, she was predeceased by her parents, Vernon L. Walters and Myrtle L. Spain; her husband, George M. Morgan; her son, Jeffery Lee Heath; her brothers, John and Richard; and her sisters, Marla, Susie and Juanita. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, LeAnna Heath of Marysville; grandchildren, Tom (Becky) Heath of West Mansfield, Jeffery Lee Heath II of Marysville, Joseph (Stacey) Heath of Pickerington and Jessica (Jeffrey Runyon) Heath of Titusville, Florida; her great-grandchildren, Sean, Brayden, Gabriel, Jacob, Isaac, Olivia, Hank and Haylee; her sisters, Linda Bollack, Vicki (Isaacs) and Ann (Isaacs) ; her brothers, Lester Isaacs, Terry Isaacs, Tony Isaacs and Jim Isaacs; and many other relatives. Memorial services will be held 6 p.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at First English Lutheran Church, 687 London Avenue, Marysville, where the family will receive friends beginning at 5 p.m. COVID precautions will be followed for the visitation and service. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Riverside Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Drive, Columbus, 43214. Underwood Funeral Home is assisting the family.
