Timothy A. Snow

Timothy Allen Snow, age 54, of Marysville, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 30, 2020 in the emergency room at Memorial Hospital. An electrical engineer, he was a 20-year associate of Dynamix Engineering in Grandview. He was a 1983 graduate of Springfield Shawnee High School and received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineer from Wright State University. He attained the distinction of a Professional Engineer (PE). A member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Tim enjoyed video games and “anything” technology. He also liked watching a variety of cartoons and movies and was a big fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds. Above all, he was a loving and devoted husband, father, son and brother. He was born November 11, 1965 in Springfield and was preceded in death by his mother, Katie Fifer; his grandparents, Allen and Betty Snow and Don and Rosalie Landess; uncles, Chuck, Dennis and Stephen Snow; and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Cherie Schwartz Snow, whom he married December 5, 1998 at Marysville First English Lutheran Church; his daughter, Elena Snow, a Marysville High School senior; his father, John W. (Kaye) Snow of Huber Heights; his step-father, Craig Fifer, Sr. of London; his sisters, Tocia Holland of Texas and Tonia (John) Parks of Michigan; his brothers, Craig (Donna) Fifer, II of Springfield and JD Snow of Fairborn; his father- and mother-in-law, Paul and Carole Schwartz of Marysville; his sister-in-law, Tracie (Mike) Tatman of Marysville; his brother-in-law, Jon (Tonia) Schwartz of Ostrander; his aunt, Bonnie (Jim) Roads; his uncle Gregg Snow; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. A funeral procession will form 2 p.m., Friday, June 5, 2020 at Underwood Funeral Home, 703 East Fifth Street, Marysville and proceed to Oakdale Cemetery for a 2 :30 p.m. graveside service. Rev. Barry Scott will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Foundation (ALS). Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.underwoodfuneralhome.com.
