Thomas “TR” Richard Rush, age 51 of Marysville, died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 7th, 2021

He enjoyed family trips to Gatlinburg, birdwatching, playing with his dogs, and was a regular at Woodland Cigar Company in Delaware.

TR was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother, nephew, uncle and would have welcomed his first grandchild Abigail on December 9th.

He was born October 6th, 1970, in Columbus, was a 1988 graduate of Grove City High School, he received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from The Ohio State University. He was Vice President of business development of MedAssist and was a former associate of Siemens HealthCare.

He is preceded in death by his sister Kathryn Bomer.

He is survived by his wife, of 26 years, Lana G. Rush, whom he married on July 29th, 1995 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Grove City, his children Matthew (Amy) Farr of New Albany, Ryleigh (Bryce) Forry of Louisville, Kentucky, and Thomas Walton Rush, a graduate student at the University of Minnesota, and his granddaughter Abigail Marie.

Parents Tom and Judy Dunn Rush of Grove City, sister Raygan (Mike) Barrett of Upper Arlington, nieces MacKenna Barrett and Bernadette Bomer and nephew Jimmy Barrett. Aunts Paula Rush and Kathy Kinsel of Delaware and mother-in-law Barbara Walton of Marysville.
