Terry Lee Walker, age 76, of Marysville, died peacefully Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Prestige Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Marysville with his daughter by his side. He was an associate of Danella Construction in Melbourne, Florida for many years. Terry was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served as an air freight specialist. He served active duty from February 1964 to October 1967 and in the reserves from October 1967 to his honorable discharge in February 1970. An illustrator, he enjoyed creating cartoons and drawing a variety of characters. He liked to read and drink beer and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State fan. Terry was known for his sarcastic humor and intelligence. Born August 2, 1944 in Portsmouth, Ohio, he was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Harry and Thelma Walker and his mother and step-father, Cordelia and Robert Childers. He was also predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Vera Walker, Jr.; his sister, Carol Blair; his step-brother, Ronald Childers; and his granddaughter, Destiny Butler. He is survived by his children, Vanessa (Brian Hartwell) Garner of Quincy, Stephanie (John) Chamberlin of Belle Center and Bret (Ashley) Walker of Defiance; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his brother, Randy (CJ) Childers of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Underwood Funeral Home, 703 East Fifth Street, Marysville.
