Terry Lee Draughn, 80, of Woodville, Texas, formerly of Crossville, Tennessee, died April 30, 2014 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont, TX. He retired from Dayton Power and Light where he worked as a meterman for 30 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was stationed at the US Army Engineer School at Fort Belvoir, Virginia during the Cold War. He was an avid model railroad hobbyist and was a member of the Crossville, TN Model Railroad Club. He was a graduate of Benham High School in Kentucky. He was born January 11, 1934 in Norton, Virginia to the late Joseph and Lora Bowles Draughn. He was also predeceased by two sisters, Pauline Robinette and Helen Maxwell; and an infant son, Timothy. He is survived by his wife, Sue Walker Draughn of Woodville; his son, Scot (Holly) Draughn of Marysville; three step-children, Cindy (Jerry) Forte, Sonja (Gus) Pappas and Tracy Walton; five granddaughters, Emma, Sarah, Ericka, Marissa and Salinda and one grandson, Lee; eight great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Gabe, Cohen, Chris, Sierra, Catara, Cassidy and Tayler; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Underwood Funeral Home where funeral services with military honors will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday.
