Suzanne Denise Bertram-Kitchen, age 55, of Marysville, has gone to be with our Lord, Saturday, November 28, 2020. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to so many. She has joined her dad, “Pal” in heaven. She lived her life to its fullest for her wonderful daughters, Callie and Abbie Rose. She was a 1983 graduate of Clay High School and received an associate’s degree from Shawnee State University in Portsmouth. She enjoyed her early career as an assistant administrator at Heartcare of Ohio and as a preschool teacher at Northwest Presbyterian Christian Academy in Dublin. She loved flower gardening, Silly Putty, her pets, and cherished being with her daughters in all of their activities. Always the “life of the party,” she will be remembered for her lively humor, outspoken conversation, loving hugs, and approachable personality. She was a bright star in our lives. She was born August 21, 1965 in Portsmouth and was preceded in death by her father, Ronald “Pal” Guy Bertram. She is survived by her daughters, Callie and Abbie Rose; her mother, Pauletta Eiford-Bertram of Raymond; her brother, Brett (Charlotte Sullivan) Bertram of Plain City; two sisters, Kasey Bertram-Arnett of Marysville and Brooke (Steve) Layne of Raymond; a nephew, Jacob; her nieces, Jessi and Kirstie; an aunt, Ruth Reed; and many other relatives and cherished friends. A private Celebration of Life will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Union County Humane Society or to her daughter’s college funds, in care of Pauletta Bertram. Underwood Funeral Home is assisting the family.
