Stephanie Jo Green

Stephanie Jo Green, age 54, of Marysville, formerly of Marion, died peacefully with her loving family at her side on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Prestige Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Marysville.  A homemaker and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, she was known for being a skilled cook and baker.  Stephanie’s gift of cooking allowed her to share with others in need of a hearty meal.  She was known for being deeply involved with fundraisers and events surrounding food and bringing people together.  She loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and boating. Stephanie had an artistic and creative flair. She liked crafts, decorating, music and coordinating all aspects of a good party or celebration.  She had an infectious laugh and bright smile.  Above all, she adored her family with all her being.  She was born August 17, 1966 in Marion and was preceded in death by her father, Robert Maynard.  She was also predeceased by her brother, Bobby Maynard and her stepfather, William Faulkner.  She is survived by her children, Brandy (Katie Chapman) Green of Marysville and Kevin (Stephanie) Green of Marion; six grandchildren, Gracalyn, Isaiah, Titus, Jude, Gage and Kinsey; her mother, Beverly (Bruce Lehman) Faulkner of Marion; her sisters, Serena (Ben) Trafzer of Marion and Shannon (Jeff) Fairchild of Prospect; her aunts and uncles, Barbara (Paul) Thompson, Dan Thacker, Lou Sprouse, Thelma Charles, Bill (Becky) Maynard and Ernest “Junior” Maynard; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. A Celebration of Life memorial gathering will be held 12 noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Marion VFW Post 7201, 1614 Marion-Marysville Road, Marion. In lieu of flowers, your presence is welcome. Food will be provided. COVID precautions will be required. Underwood Funeral Home in Marysville is assisting the family.
