Shari Pearson

Shari Lea Dean Pearson, age 51, of Gahanna, transferred her membership to Heaven on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital.  She was a 1985 graduate of Valley High School in Lucasville. An active member of Living Waters Church of God in Marysville, assisting with many ministries. In addition to her childlike faith, she was a devoted mother. She was known for her generous spirit and loving heart.  She was born October 16, 1966 in Circleville, Ohio and was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Dean; her grandfathers, Charles Whaley and John Dean; an aunt, Janice Dean; and uncles Charlie Whaley and Rudy Long. She is survived by her mother, RoseMary Whaley (Ed) Federer of Melbourne, Florida; her children, Preston Pearson of Westerville, Joshua and Victoria Pearson, both of Gahanna; her brother, John Dean of Reynoldsburg; her sisters, Angela Hamilton of Columbus and Kimberly (Michael) Roehrenbeck of Gahanna; her grandmothers, Mary Whaley and Georgetta Dean; her aunts and uncles, Sharon (Fred) Hoover, Sally Henkle, Cliff (Linda) Whaley, Larry (Jeanette) Dean, John (Cindy) Dean, Judy (Bill) Alderman, Pam Long, and Connie Dean; and many nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends 12 noon to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 at Living Waters Church of God, 10910 US Highway 42, Marysville, Ohio 43040 where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. Her Pastor and brother-in-law, Bishop Michael Roehrenbeck will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Living Waters Church of God.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at
