Rutha Mae Hall Bevins Hutchins, age 84, of Marysville, died peacefully Thursday, April 6, 2023 at her home with her loving family by her side. A child of God, Rutha was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. A homemaker, she was of the Baptist faith and loved singing the good ol’ Gospel hymns. Dearly devoted to her beloved family, she enjoyed quilting, playing Bingo and dice, winning at the casino and working puzzles. She will be most remembered for singing while cleaning the house, loyalty to her kids (no matter what) and being a “mommy” to those in the neighborhood. She was born January 13, 1939 in Knott County, Kentucky to the late Floyd and Sarah Cooke Hall. She was the last surviving siblings of 13 children. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Bevins and David Hutchins; a son, Junior Bevins; and grandsons, Dustin Bevins and Herb Bevins, Jr. She is survived by her sons, Herbert (Brenda) Bevins and Kennith Bevins, both of Oklahoma; her daughters, Deloris (Robert) Winn of Oak Hill, Patricia (Alan) LaRue of North Lewisburg, Teresa Bevins of Marysville and Lilly Bevins of Marysville; her grandchildren, Amy, Brandy, Tammy, Robert, Kristina, Kevin, Jessi, Kristal, Mitch, Amanda, Sarah; step grandchildren, Ryan, Justin, Travis, Christy, Carla, Phillip, Heather, Abby, Charles, Heather, Tiffany, Clark; many great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, including Charles Hoffman.
