Rondal William Keen, 69, of Marysville died Wednesday, April 29, 2013 at Dublin Methodist Hospital. He was an avid catfish fisherman and loved driving his truck for 35 years. After retiring as a truck driver, he cherished transporting and taking care of his many Amish friends. He attended the Marysville Bible Baptist Church and enjoyed his friends, family, and especially his grandchildren. He was born May 18, 1943 in Grundy, Virginia to his late father, Lester Arnold Keen and his surviving mother, Thelma Shoupt Keen. He was also predeceased by two sisters, Jackie Gillispie and Bessie “Lou” Hammond. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Sandy Wilkins Keen; eight children, Timothy (Carol) Keen of Johnsville, Charlotte (Tom) Clark of Miss., William (Mary) Keen of Alabama, Wanda (Tony) Keen of Grove City, Teresa Audi of Howard, Michael (Laurie) Adams and Shirley (Joe) Fiano of Conn., and Theresa (Roger) Stinson of Marysville; seven brothers and sisters, Jesse (Omie) Keen of Mt. Vernon, Monroe (Gladys) Keen of Johnsville, Irene (Keith) Nichols of Mt. Gilead, Ronald “Keith” Keen of Marion, Pansy (Yogi) Yoder, and Kenneth (Billie Jo) Keen of Johnsville, and Juanita (Rocky) Lewis of Dayton; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday 4 p.m. at Marysville Bible Baptist Church, 404 South Oak Street. Pastor Jeremy Stout will officiate.
