Richard Lewis Worstell, age 69, of Marysville, died Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Milcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A retired truck driver for 45 years, he worked for several transportation companies and was a member of Teamsters Union Local 908. He was a veteran of the Ohio Army National Guard. A graduate of Marysville High School, he enjoyed golfing and football. He was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Browns fan. He was born April 2, 1946 in Marysville to the late Charles and Lucretia Mae Woodworth Worstell and was also preceded in death by his wife, Naomi June Worstell; three sisters, Phyllis, Marilyn and Barb; and a brother, Max. He is survived by his children, Brian Worstell of Summerfield, Florida, Shannon (Doug) Triplett of Canada, Kentucky and Jackie Worstell of Marysville; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Joshua, Madison, Jessica, Isaac, Tyler, Nicholas and Makalyn; his great-grandchildren, Rowen and Gavin; his brothers, Gene (Frances) Worstell, Donald Worstell and Jim (Pat) Worstell; and many nieces and nephews and loving friends, including Janet Lewis of Florida. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Marysville Church of the Nazarene where the family will receive friends one hour prior. Pastor Paul Mills will officiate.
