Regina M. Camarota, age 98, of Marysville, died Friday, February 1, 2019 at Monarch Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A baker by trade, she a skilled cake decorator and artist. She was known for her paintings and drawings and needlepoint creations. She retired from Hershey Entertainment and Resort Company. Raised in the Catholic faith, she was a former member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Hershey, Pennsylvania and Evangelical Free Church of Hershey, Pennsylvania. She was a strong supporter of the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Of Italian descent, she was born October 7, 1920 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Natele and Florence L. Daniel Montefusco. She was also preceded in death in 1967 by her husband, Thomas C. Camarota; and all of her siblings, Nick, Bob, Phyllis, Victor and two infants. She is survived by her son, Thomas (Michele) Camarota of Marysville; two grandchildren, Christopher Camarota of Trenton, Georgia and Brandon (Angela) Camarota of Dayton; her great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Camarota of Dayton; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives. The family will hold private services at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Underwood Funeral Home is assisting the family.
