Norma Jean Kise King, age 88, of Milford Center, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 7, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. A homemaker and dedicated matriarch of her family, she was a longtime restaurant and bar cook. At the age of 72, she retired from Hoot-n-Annie’s in Milford Center. She also worked at The Knotty Pine, City Grill and The Balcony. She had a passion for cooking, liked sewing and flowers and enjoyed dancing to old country music. Norma cherished buying and giving at Christmastime to family and friends. Above all, she will be remembered for her spitfire personality. She was born June 4, 1931 in Columbus to the late William Jennings and Christine McClaskey Kise. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Mullins, Franklin Roosevelt Stiltner and Raymond King; her son, Randy Mullins; two brothers, Jim and Ed Kise; and two grandsons, Andy Mullins and Bryson Stiltner. She is survived by her children, Charles (Sheila) Mullins of Columbus, Sam (Judy) Mullins of Mt. Sterling, Gloria (Russ) Diles of Columbus, Cynthia (Rob) Ross of Woodstock, Vicky (Terry) Landreth of Marysville, Franklin Stiltner of Milford Center, Roosevelt Stiltner of Milford Center and Wendy (Charles) Young of Cable; her grandchildren, Randy, Jr., Sabrina, Jeremy, Jacob, Angie, Nicole, Jimmy, Amanda, Kristen, Ryan, Karrisa, Zachary, Nicholus, Amber, Brandon, Colton, Caleb, CJ and Justin; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her siblings, Bill (Pat) Kise, Larry (Audrey) Kise, Roger (Donna) Kise, Erlene “Lynn” Bell and Bernice (Fred) Henault; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will receive friends 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2019 at Underwood Funeral Home. Pastor Ed Beeson will officiate graveside services to be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery in Mutual. Memorial contributions may be made to Loving Care Hospice.
