Nicholas Allen Washburn, age 25, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 24, 2020 as a result of a motorcycle accident. A 2013 graduate of Marysville High School, he was a tree trimmer. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed motorcross, fishing, hunting and bull riding. Born in Michigan and raised in Marysville, he was a young man with a distinctive style and a big heart, he liked country music and motorcycles. His special impact on friends and family was attractive, heart-warming and generous. Anybody who met Nick instantly liked him. When wearing his cut-off shirts, he would explain, “sun’s out, guns out!” He was born January 3, 1995 in Sturgis, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Worstell; his step-father, Charley “Fuzz” Bradley; and a childhood best friend, Brett Madden. He is survived by his mother, Jackie (Jay Bourdo) Worstell of Hilliard; his father, Shawn (Dawn Maran) Washburn of Indiana; a brother, Tyler Bourdo; two sisters, Makalyn Washburn and Sky DeWeese; his grandparents, Karen and Richie Allen, Janet Lewis, Thomas and Alice Washburn and Robin and Charles Hummel; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous good friends. The family will receive friends 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Underwood Funeral Home. A funeral procession will form at 2 p.m. and proceed to Mt.
