Michael “Mike” Ray, age 70, of Plumwood, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Dublin Methodist Hospital. Mike was born in Virginia to the late Emily Bell Ball and John Torbett Ray. A Pink Floyd lover, an avid WWE fan and a family man, Mike took pride in his family, children and grandchildren. He never turned down an opportunity to support or be there for his family and friends. He loved being outdoors, having cookouts or taking camping trips to Mohican State Park. Mike was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army. He valued his time served in the Marines, as that was one of his proudest accomplishments. Mike is survived by his wife of 25 years, Katheryn Ray; his children, John (Nicole) Ray and Anna Ray; his step-children, Jeremy (Stephanie) Osterloh and Tony Osterloh; his grandchildren, William Stewart, Alexis Ray, Aubrey Ray, Isabelle Osterloh, Zinnia Osterloh and Lily Osterloh; his sibings, Della Shope, Virginia Mitchell and Robin Tosco; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his siblings, Gladis Asbury, Dorthy Downing, Mary Erwin, Cora Davis, Johnny Ray, Carol Parker and Danny Ray.
