Maxine Scarberry Loudermilk, age 92, of Byhalia, died Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Heartland of Marysville. A homemaker, she was loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandma. She enjoyed sewing and flower gardening. Above all, she cherished being with her family. She was born July 4, 1923 in Chesapeake, West Virginia to the late Marion and Bertha Shockly Scarberry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Loudermilk; a son, Johnny Loudermilk; and her siblings, Charlie, Leo, Ernie, Hobart, Ernestine and Hazel. She is survived by her children, Linda Loudermilk of Marysville, Barbara (Jeff) Hensley of Richwood, David (Darlene) Loudermilk of Byhalia and Joe (Brenda) Loudermilk of Marysville; her grandchildren Kimberly (Mike) Gallucci, Jennifer Hensley, Janet (Daniel) Beckley, Donna (Zack) Wolford, David (Jennifer) Loudermilk, Bruce (Jessica) Loudermilk, Kerry Hogle, Kimberly Hogle, Wendy Parmenter, Christy Maynard, Steve Marshall and Ronnie Marshall; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; her sisters, Betty Halleck, Violet Noble and Shirley “Jean” (Pete) Carsey; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives. Private burial will be held at York Township Cemetery.
