Mary Scheiderer

Mary Marzella Larkins Scheiderer, age 89, of Marysville, died Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Hospice at Riverside Kobacker House. A professional secretary, she was a 1946 graduate of London High School. Her career associations included Denison Engineering, Coleman Law Office, Denison Abex Corporation, The Boeing Company, Liggett Law Office, Hamilton Law Office, Schulze Law Office, Honda of America, Heinkel Law Office and Box Homes. A tireless volunteer and community supporter, she served with Memorial Hospital’s community relations board, the Clothes Closet and was co-founder of CASC (the Community and Seasoned Citizens). She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a longtime member of Windsor Singers. A member of the Red Hat Society, she was known for her colorful character and loving demeanor. She enjoyed photographing events involving her family and friends for church, school and community activities. She was especially known for being an avid Elvis fan. She was born April 1, 1929 in London, Ohio to the late George E. and Mary Marie Wilson Larkins. She was also predeceased by her husband Dean; her son, Robert; and her siblings, Robert Larkins and Helen Larkins Greene. She is survived by her daughter, Sandi; and many other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Underwood Funeral Home where the family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. Pastor Barry Scott will officiate. Graveside interment will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in London. Memorial contributions may be made to Community and Seasoned Citizens.
