I am broken hearted to hear of my dear friend passing. We recently had the most wonderful phone call and spent lots of time "remembering" high school and all the fun we had together. We love singing in the choir. A very friendly and fun girlfriend who always tried to keep in touch. She visited us in Florida and was going to come again. She once took a week vacation to spend with me as I returned to Marysville area doing geaneology searches on my fathers family. We crawled through rough fences, grass, etc. so I could trace etchings on very old grave markers. She helped me sort thru piles of broken pieces of grave markers so we could repair little angels, etc. that had been broken from family stones. What a fantastic time we enjoyed. My dear friend, I know where you are now. You will be one of those precious angels who always appear to help when so needed. God take care of this wonderful lady. We love you!!

Like Nada, I knew Martha from gardening and attending Congregation Beth Tikvah. She was a warm and wonderful woman. She knew no strangers, welcomed and supported everyone. Martha added a lot to our group with her knowledge of native plants, her contributions of plants, and ability to identify everything that grew. She was always willing to share her knowledge and plant starts. Thanks you to the obituary writers for sharing with us the broader extent of her participation in the arts in Marysville. We knew Les and heard stories of her family, but our conversations didn't veer into the art sphere. We will miss her and will plant some paw paw trees in her memory. Thanks for sharing her with us.

Martha was my coworker at Wendy's International for many years. It breaks my heart to hear this, she was one of the sweetest person I have ever worked with. My dearest condolences to her family and friends. RIP...

Martha gardened with the "Garden Buds" at Beth Tikvah. She was an expert at tree identification. When kneeling down, became too much, she still supported us, by purchasing summer annuals to brighten and beautify the place. She will be very much missed. I always enjoyed her smile and sense of humor.
