A devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was a woman of strong faith who dearly loved her family and friends. She was lovingly known by all her grandchildren as “Mama Weeze.” She enjoyed reading, cooking, flower gardening, Bible study and going out to dinner with her special friend, Janie Guy. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially watching them play sports, shopping with them throughout the years and attending all of her grandchildren’s college graduations. Scott and Sons, starting as a secretary and then becoming a sales representative. She very much enjoyed her co-workers and the opportunity to travel with the company. She was a member of Trinity Chapel Church in Milford Center. She will be missed and remembered for always having a smile and a kind word for everyone. She was born January 18, 1928 in Jeffersonville, Ohio to the late Virgil and Mabel Bond Davison. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Barnett “Tony” Russell, whom she married February 23, 1947 in South Charleston; sisters-in-law, Jane Davison, Gertrude Wilcox, Ethel Russell, Elitia Roberts, Irma Carroll and Winnie Kaufman; and brothers-in-law, Bruce Russell, Norman “Doc” Russell and Paul Russell.
