Lloyd Edward Bruce, age 73, of Marysville, died unexpectedly, but peacefully Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at his home. He retired from Trucco Construction where he was a field superintendent. A heavy equipment operator, he also formerly worked at Shepherd Excavating and years ago, for the State of Ohio. A history buff, he loved Civil War and World War II memorabilia and documentaries. Aside from his dedication to his loving family, he was deeply devoted to his animals, especially Tucker. He will be remembered for preparing Thanksgiving. His turkey dressing was a family favorite. He was born July 5, 1948 in Ironton, Ohio to the late Lloyd George and Alma Jean Bailey Bruce. He also was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Lee Bruce and a nephew, Jeffrey Bruce. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, DeLores V. Stump Bruce, whom he married March 5, 1971 at the home of her mother in Mechanicsburg; his children, Timothy (Kim) Bruce, Chris (Darlene) Bruce, Sean (Shannon) Bruce and Bethany (Tim) Keever; his grandchildren, Randy, Ashley, Alisha, Jessica, Brett, Brandon, Connor, Kaden, Madison and Gabriel; his great-grandchildren, Rayna, Aymee, Elyza, Jayden, Kamden, Emalin, Robyn, Boston, Paisley, Theo, Atlas and Avery; a sister-in-law, Rebecca Bruce; a nephew, Tommy Bruce; and other relatives and friends.
