Linda Ann Eirich

Linda Ann Kuhlwein Eirich, age 62, of Marysville, died Sunday, February 12, 2017 following a lengthy illness at the home of her daughter in Hilliard.  She was a retired associate of O.M. Scott and Sons where she worked for 23 years. She was also a former laboratory tech at MASI and DAT Laboratories and The Nestle Company. A graduate of Teays Valley High School, she received an associate’s degree from Clark Technical College in Springfield. She was a member of The Vineyard in Marysville where she was active in the Home Group and volunteered with various church projects.  She was also a former volunteer with the American Red Cross. She enjoyed traveling in her RV and liked working in her garden and especially cherished spending time with her grandchildren and her pet cats. She was born June 12, 1954 in Columbus. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward E. Kuhlwein; two aunts Barbara Throp and Ruth Kuhlwein; three uncles, Ray, Marvin and Tom Salsbury; and a brother-in-law, Robert Eirich.  She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Joseph D. Eirich, whom she married August 8, 1982 in Marysville; her mother, Jane M. Salsbury Kuhlwein of Ashville; her daughter, Sara Jo (Joseph) Bobb of Hilliard, formerly of Marysville; her son, Joshua Eirich of Marysville; two grandchildren, Tegan and Paxton Bobb; two sisters, Sharon (Jim) Chandler of Logan and Rebecca (John) Willing of Grove City; a brother, Jim Kuhlwein of Ashville; her brothers-and sisters-in-law, Luther Eirich of Raymond, Edward (Becky) Eirich of Broadway, Sue Hites of Marysville, Mary (George) Blackburn of Middleburg and Patty Eirich of New Albany; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives, including an uncle, Gary (Carolyn) Throp.  A memorial gathering will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Underwood Funeral Home, 703 East Fifth Street, Marysville, Ohio where the family will receive friends beginning at 5 p.m. Pastor Steve Wood will officiate.  Memorial contributions may be made Hope Center.
