Leona Mae Hartley Lowry, age 71, of Marysville, died Saturday, March 26, 2022 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center following complications from a stroke. A homemaker, she was a loving and devoted wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma and sister. Throughout her life, she enjoyed roller skating and following her family to softball events. She was born July 6, 1951 in Kenton, Ohio to the late Arthur and Dresia Titus Hartley. She was also preceded in death in 2018 by her husband of 39 years, Dwight A. Lowry, Sr. She is survived by her children, Lacie (Kevin) Crofut of Richwood, Tammy Quick of Lima, Rex (Shelli) Kelley of Richwood, Nick Lowry of Nashville, Tennessee, Alena (Steve) Bankes of Marysville and Dwight Lowry, Jr. of Marysville; her grandchildren, Ashley, Zach, Beth, Lauren, Jayla, Rhyan, Katherine, Kennedy, Brick, Luke, Ben, Kaitlyn and Collin; her great-grandchildren, Aleah, Braiden and Ellianna; her brother, Leon “Bim” Hartley of Sidney; her sister, Leora (Doug) Marlow of Cincinnati; and many other relatives. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Underwood Funeral Home.
