Lenee Marie Caudill, age 52, of Marysville, passed away peacefully, Thursday, July 16, 2020 in her home with her daughters by her side, as her battle with pancreatic cancer came to an end. Lenee was a loving and supportive daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was employed by Memorial Hospital of Union County for 28 years, Lowe’s for three years and West Central Community Correctional Facility for the last year and a half. Lenee’s greatest pride in life was spending time with her grandkids and watching them grow. With her kind heart and upbeat personality, she could make friends with anyone and was driven by helping others. It was a running joke that we couldn’t take her anywhere without running into someone she knew. Lenee will always be remembered for her selflessness and kind-hearted spirit. She was born on January 3, 1968 in Marysville, Ohio to Jim and Kathy Rausch Caudill. Lenee was preceded in death by her mother, Kathy, and a nephew, Jimmy Caudill. Lenee is survived by her daughters, Ashley (Ron) McGlone and Meredith (Cody) Smith; a stepson, Jason Eastman; her grandchildren, Rileigh and Jaxson McGlone and Tyler and Aubrey Smith; her father, Jim (Laurinda) Caudill; her brother, Mike (Amanda) Caudill; a niece, Erica (Bobby) Picklesimon; special friends, Nancy Wolford, Debby Morrison and Andrea Fisher; and her beloved dog, Izzie, along with her aunts and uncles, many cousins, a great-niece and nephew and countless friends. Lenee’s passion to continuously help others succeed excelled during her career as an educational aide at West Central, helping residents earn their GED. As her final request to continue educating others, Lenee has made an anatomical donation to The Ohio State University. In lieu of funeral services, the family will hold a Celebration of Life in the weeks to come. Underwood Funeral Home is assisting the family.
