Dear Liz and your family, I’m in shock at reading this and am so sorry. We were talking about what wonderful friends you were and how Lee always made us laugh at church. So thankful he is in heaven with the Lord and we pray you will be comforted by our Jesus in this time of grief. God bless and keep you always.

One of the few who had a specific nickname that I’d allow to “get away with,” thankful for him & for all of you in the family. He was a thoughtful mentor during high school Group Workcamps- also reflected in the entire family. In this season of “lamenting in hope,” you are loved & prayed for!

A quiet gentle manner is so often underestimated but Lee was an example of how powerful it can be. Lee was a person of few words but his words carried a massive amount of weight. He was sincere, quick-witted, and genuine. Lee will never truly be gone from this world because of all the lives he touched which made this world a better, more hopeful place. I pray for peace for his family.

The best that can be said about Lee was that he was a Christian and walked the walk. Even though we have not stayed in close contact, we had a bond. I still tell stories about experiences we shared. We had a private joke we shared and we would look at each other and laugh. Not only was he a friend but a brother in Christ.

I will always remember Lee as a great friend who was always willing to help in whatever way he could. My house has many of his expert home improvements which made our house a better home. Steve and I will greatly miss our time watching OSU football together routing on the Buckeyes, he will be greatly missed but always remembered. Our thoughts and prayer go out to Liz and his kids. Rest in Peace my friend !
