Kimberly Denise Chamblin, age 51, of Marysville, died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at her home. A skilled cosmetologist, she was a national color educator for Paul Mitchell and served clients in the Marysville and central Ohio area for nearly 30 years. She received training from Ohio State School of Cosmetology. It was her passion to use her talents in hairstyling to make others feel empowered, beautiful and confident. She was known as “a mom” to so many, whether through childcare, show choir, basketball or with kids in the neighborhood. She will be most remembered for her gleaming smile, words of encouragement and huge heart. She was born December 18, 1969 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Donald and Sharon Ashbrook Hyer. She was also preceded in death by a niece, Ana Marie Heredia; and her aunt, Margaret Jones. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Bill Chamblin, whom she married January 28, 1988; her children, Amber Chamblin of Charleston, South Carolina, Silvia Heredia of Plain City, Juan Heredia of Columbus, Lindsay Chamblin of Plain City, Paige Chamblin of Marysville and Case Chamblin of Columbus; her grandchildren, Bella, Akasha, Cyrus, Omari, Scarlett and Piper; an uncle, Eddie Jones; an aunt, Pam Ashbrook, an uncle, Fred Ashbrook; and many other relatives and friends.
