Judith Ann Sawyer Husband, age 76, of Marysville, Ohio, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at Brookdale Senior Living. She was a graduate of Windsor High School in Windsor, Vermont and attended North Hampton Commercial College. Judy worked as an Administrative Assistant for several doctors, while frequently moving in support of her husband’s career. Judy enjoyed trail riding and showing horses at local fairs with 4-H shows. She was active in the Episcopal Church with her family and had many memories to share of the excitement of getting there on time. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She was also both a cheerleader and fan for her two sons, as she religiously attended every basketball and football game. In her earlier years, she enjoyed violin lessons and helping her dad with his veterinary practice, as well as many social activities with her friends. Judy enjoyed travel to a wide variety of destinations, including Martinique, Aruba, Barbados, St.Maarten, Jamaica, Switzerland, Germany, England, Scotland, Monaco and France. She also enjoyed travel within the United States, which often involved camping in many state and national parks, and occasional side trips to Las Vegas. A highlight of her journeys was a family cruise to Alaska. These travels provided a busy and interesting life to share with friends and family. Judy maintained a love for animals throughout her life including her two miniature schnauzers, Muffin and Biscuit, who both survive. She always found time to discuss some aspect of the joy they brought to her life. Judy will be fondly remembered for her zest for life, love of dancing, her desire to keep on the go, the unequivocal love for her children and family, and the cherished memories she held of her many friends. She was born March 13, 1944 in Windsor, Vermont to the late John (DVM) and Ruth Barton Sawyer. She was also preceded in death by her brother, John Barton Sawyer. Judy is survived by her husband of 57 years and lifelong companion, Laurel D.
