Jeremy E. Mulkey, age 37, of Knoxville, Tennessee, formerly of Dublin, died unexpectedly Thursday, September 19, 2019 in Knoxville. He lived in Dublin, until most recently calling Knoxville his home. A 2001 graduate of Dublin Coffman High School, he began his high school career at Fairbanks High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in 2006 from Capital University. An accomplished athlete, he held records in weightlifting, football and track from his middle school through his college years. Jeremy was a member of Maker City Church of Knoxville, formerly Ignition Church of Knoxville where he was baptized and found great comfort. He loved his pet dogs, Jaxson and Spotty and liked taking them on long walks. He was born August 9, 1982 in Marion, Ohio. He was preceded in death his uncles and aunts, Jeff Caldwell, Larry Mulkey, Jim Mulkey, Betty Moore and Frances Satterfield; his grandparents, John and Ethel Mulkey; and his great-grandparents, Elma and Jack Sewell. He is survived by his parents, Lynn and Cathy Caldwell Mulkey of Marysville; his sister, Alicia (Andy) Hindman of Clintonville; his brother, Evan Mulkey of Willow Creek, California; his grandparents, Elwood and Mary Ann Caldwell of Marysville; his uncles, Robert Mulkey of Mt. Vernon, Keith (Rhonda) Mulkey of Cable and Leslie Mulkey of Plain City; his aunt, Carol Blythe of Plain City; and many cousins and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Underwood Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Pastors J.D. Davis and Pastor Darrel Gabbard will officiate and burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery.
