Jeffery Lee Heath, 57, of Marysville and a lifetime resident of Union County, died Thursday, March 13, 2014 at home surrounded by his family following a year-long illness. A longtime commercial truck driver, he was an associate with Ryder Integrated Logistics for 22 years. He attended Marysville High School and served with the Ohio National Guard. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, boating, camping and grilling out. He was a member of the West Mansfield Conservation Club. Known to his friends and family as humorous, lively and light-hearted, he will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandpa, son and friend. He was born August 25, 1956 in Marysville and was predeceased by his father, George L. Heath; his step-father, George Morgan; his father-in-law, Thomas Rausch; and uncles, Jim Heath and Bill Mobley. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, LeAnna M. Rausch Heath, whom he married September 23, 1974 in Raymond; his children, George “Tom” (Rebecca) Heath of West Mansfield, Jeffery (Charlene Hale) Heath of Austin, Indiana, Joseph (Stacey) Heath of Marysville and Jessica (Jeff Runyon) Heath of Marysville; his mother, Verna Morgan of Marysville; five grandchildren, Sean, Brayden, Gabriel, Jacob and Hank; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Rausch of Marysville; a sister-in-law, Kim (Ray) Estep of Marysville; a brother-in-law, Tyler Rausch of Sarasota, Florida; nephews and nieces, Mike, Bonnie, Jerimy, Travis, Tequila and Zachary; great nieces and nephews; an uncle, John “Jack” Heath; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Underwood Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 12 noon Tuesday. Rev. Paul A.
