Jeffery “Jeff” L. Boyer, age 59, a resident of Marysville, Ohio earned his angel wings on November 9, 2021 at Kobacker House. Jeff could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. At a very early age, he was riding motorcycles. He then became an AMA ProStar motorcycle drag racing champion. Jeff was the Super Eliminator Champion and National Record Holder from 1992-1994, Super Comp champion 1993-1995. Jeff set the record in 1992-1993 as the Worlds Quickest and Fastest Modified Turbo 750CC motorcycle. He went on to win the record from 1994-1995 as the World’s Quickest and Fastest AA/A 1325cc Motorcycle. Jeff loved riding his motorcycle to his heart’s content or until he set himself on fire. Jeff served in the United States Army for twelve years and retired as a Master Sergeant. Jeff graduated from the University of Florida where he earned his B.S in Nursing and Trauma Medicine along with his A.A. in Business Administration. He worked many years for his family-owned business, Boy-Rad Goodyear as a Manager and Service Manager. Jeff was born September 19, 1962, in Mendon, Ohio the son of Lance and Patricia “Sue” Boyer. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia “Sue” Boyer and sister Julie Kiser; maternal grandparents, Albert “Buck” Davis and Matra Wilson Davis; paternal grandparents, Joseph L. Boyer and Dorothy K. Boyer; and aunts, Marilyn Sheets and Janet Bouegher. Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Debbie (Lambert) Boyer; stepson Stephen Lambert, whom he loved dearly and thought of as his own son; father, Lance Boyer of Lancaster, Ohio; sister Jennifer Summerville (Ron); brother Shawn Boyer; sister Shannon Boyer; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and longtime best friend, Dan Threadgill, Sr. Jeff is now at peace, joining his mother, “Sue” and sister, Julie – That is one fun party re-united! Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Underwood Funeral Home, 703 East Fifth Street, Marysville, Ohio 43040. Pastor Greg Menssen will officiate. A private interment will be held at a later date.The family would like to give a special thanks to The Kobacker House and his best friend Dan Threadgill, Sr. for taking such good care of Jeff during his stay.
