Janet L. Moore

January 13, 2021

Janet L. (Dever) Moore, age 77, of Delaware, died Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital following a brief illness.  A homemaker and skilled seamstress, she enjoyed cooking, crafting and music. As a volunteer at Grady Memorial Hospital, she worked in the volunteer office, served at the welcome desk and gift shop and lovingly made Christmas stockings for newborns who arrived in December. She was a devout member of the Delaware Church of the Nazarene.  Her Christian faith served as the core of her very being.  As Janet passed from this earthly life to our heavenly home with her daughters by her side, The Apostle’s Creed was recited over her by daughter, Barb. She will especially be remembered for the joy and love she had for her grandchildren. She was born August 24, 1943 in Wooster, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father, James H. Dever; her mother, Mildred Ann Greer Dever; and her siblings, William Dever, Gustabelle Nibert, Imogene Lash, Carl Dever and Glen Dever. She is survived by her daughters, Melissa (Bob) Fuson and Brenda (Randy) Jervis, both of Marysville and Barbara Moore of Dublin; her grandchildren, Katherine Fuson, Christopher (Kaley) Fuson, Laura (Stephen) Drake, Amanda Fuson, Matthew (Laura) Fuson, Carrie Jervis and Megan (David) Little; her great-grandchildren, Oliver and Liam Fuson, Hannah, James and Micah Drake, Connor and Taylor Trigg and Gracen and Henry Little; her brother, Robert (Gladys) Dever of Delaware; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. Private graveside services will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to Common Ground Free Store Ministries at commongroundfreestore.org. Underwood Funeral Home in Marysville is assisting the family.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.underwoodfuneralhome.com.
