James Mollohan

James W. Mollohan, age 40, of Kodak, Tennessee, formerly of Marysville, died Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Cancer Treatment Center of America in Newnan, Georgia. A mechanic all his life, he was an associate of Brauer Company in Knoxville, Tennessee where he was a forklift technician. While a resident of Marysville, he was a mechanic for KIA and Germain Ford in Dublin.  An outdoorsman, he especially enjoyed hunting and camping.  He cherished playing video games with his kids and was lovingly known by his grandchildren as “Pop Pop.” He was born June 6, 1976 in Barberton, Ohio and was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Mollohan.  He is survived by his children, Justin, Joshua and McKenzie Mollohan, all of Marysville and Shania (Zack) Blain of Apopka, Florida; his father, Gerritt (Tammy) Mollohan of Wooster; his fiancée, Crystal Mathes and her children, Michael Russell and Makayla (James) Suttles; two grandchildren, Dawson Blain and Aria Suttles; two brothers, Chris (Christina) Mollohan of North Dakota and Buddy (Amanda) Mollohan of Richwood; a step-sister, Sarah (Kevin) Mahoney of Colorado Springs; a step-brother, Marion David (Dawn) Hutchison of Rittman; and aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends, including his former wife, LuAnn Mollohan of Marysville. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Union County Cancer Society.
