What a wonderful thing it was to be looking at past performances of Swingers Unlimited last night and to see Haleigh's smile gracing the stage. I truly thought it was going to be an "off year" for Swingers Unlimited this year with such a small returning Senior class and yet in four tough comps thus far this year they have yet to lose. Their season was dedicated to Haleigh and it shows in their passion on stage each week and their love for one another. When I saw her smiling face on TV last night I thought about how the Golden girls poured into my girls lives and it brought a warm feeling of gratitude to my heart and a smile to my face. Thanks Haleigh from a proud Daddy of two girls that you forever touched.

Haleigh was such a joy to work with in her journalism classes at UC. She was a kind-hearted, smart, hard-working and creative soul, and I feel so lucky to have known her. I am heartbroken that her life was cut so short, but I want her parents and loved ones to know that we will not forget her, or the kind and inclusive way in which she embraced others, or the determination she showed in her academic and creative pursuits. We are so deeply saddened by this loss.

Doug, Rishanne & Taylor, We were so saddened to hear about Haleigh. Every time Doug and I would speak, I loved hearing him bring me up to date on the Girls and his voice always perked up when he would mention Taylor and Haleigh. The love and pride would shine right through the phone and deservingly so! You both did a remarkable job raising two phenomenal and bright young women and you should be proud of that. Haleigh’s passing is a loss and a tragic one too! May the memory of Her life and what she achieved be the strength you need to get through this and know you have a wonderful support system with family and friends there for love and support whenever you need it! We love you guys and will keep you in our prayers. Tim and Kate Viola

I’m sending you all of my love, and cannot put into words the impact Haleigh had on me and the rest of our class. All I can do is carry with me the knowledge that she is somewhere watching, carrying me and everyone else through life, making it better as we go. Love always - Alex

I knew Haleigh since we were young students in Marysville. We weren’t close and I would only call us friendly acquaintances, but I remember her smiling face from the halls and classrooms at Marysville High School. I highly respected her as the intelligent and kind young women she was. She was someone I knew would achieve many things and I can’t believe that she was taken so young. The world is truly at a loss without Haleigh in it. My condolences to her family and friends and the lives of those she brought light to.
