As a distant neighbor, I would see George enjoying the outdoors of his property. To his family, I am sorry for your loss. God rest his soul.

I remember George well, both from the Big Red Band and playing ball a number of times. Shared many good times in high school. He was fun to be with - smart, funny, talented.

I am a former Big Red classmate who also attended OSU. I now live in Los Angeles and have used Facebook to communicate with him occasionally. My immediate recollection is George's witty sense of humor. Kindly give my deepest condolences to his family. There are many of us who will forever enjoy many wonderful memories of George.

George and I were in the studio high School band we stayed in contact with each other while we were in college. I ended up going to Ottterbein college in Westerville where George lived. We ended up having some good times in Westerville. when I got my degree and left Westerville. George and I had good intentions to get together but always seemed to be tied up. tell George's family I will miss him as you would a family member. Tell George's family we are living in Isle of Palms South Carolina and if they have an opportunity to come visit us give us a call.

I went to high school with George at Big Red, was in the band with him and we even dated a few times....he was a terrific musician, a good friend in school and so well liked by all....we just became Facebook friends a short time ago and discovered we only live about 20 miles apart. I am sorry we didn't get to reminisce more but I send my condolences to the family. God Bless.
