Gail Gregory, age 81, of Milford Center, died peacefully Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Monarch Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Marysville. He was a retired electrician of Nestle R & D for 38 years. Following retirement, he and his wife, Sue, moved to Sebring, Florida for almost 20 years. A 1957 graduate of Union Local High School, Gail enjoyed flying planes. He was so proud of his Cessna 184. He also enjoyed restoring his 1929 Ford “Model A” truck. He liked playing bluegrass on his guitar, banjo and mandolin and will be remembered as a hard-working family man, who during his retirement, enjoyed playing music in nursing homes and with fellow “bluegrassers” and friends. He was born March 19, 1939 in Woodstock, Ohio to the late Thomas J. and Nola E. Stidham Gregory; his wife, Rebecca “Sue” Gregory; and his son, Gail Gregory, II. He is survived by his daughter, Tina (Neal) Kise of Milford Center; his son, Travis (Erin) Gregory of Milford Center; his grandchildren, Chris (Liza) Kise, Denicka (Sam) Gordon, Greg Kise, Aubrey Waters, Amber Gregory, Elizabeth Gregory and Rebecca Gregory; great-grandchildren, Allison, Ethan, Macy, Savannah, Kadence, Kouper, Dylan and Hunter; his sister, Florence Nickle; his brothers, Cecil (Terri) Gregory and Don (Shirley) Gregory; his in-laws, Barbara Fielder, Sandy Wurtzbaugh and Karen Saylor; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Interment will be held at a later date at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park, Florida. Underwood Funeral Home is assisting the family.
