Elizabeth Mary Farrell, age 61, of Dublin, formerly of The Bronx, NY, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014 with her family by her side at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. She was an office manager at Landaker and Associates in Westerville for over twenty years. She was also a part-time cashier/clerk at The Anderson’s General Store in Dublin. Of Irish Catholic descent, she was raised in The Bronx, one of six children of Irish immigrants. She moved to Ohio in the mid-1990’s to be close to her sister and nephews and to begin a new career. Family was of utmost importance to her. She enjoyed taking camping trips and special journeys with her family and especially cherished times with her great niece, Erin and her great nephew, Max. She enjoyed shopping, going out to eat and handicrafts, including latch hook and ceramics. She was born April 1, 1953 in The Bronx, New York to the late Patrick and Rose Sammon Farrell. She is survived by her sister, Ann Marie Guth of Dublin; her brothers, Patrick Farrell, Edward “Eddie” (Teresa) Clarkson-Farrell, Kevin Farrell, and Sean (Theresa) Farrell, all of New York City; nieces and nephews, Brian (Melisa) Guth, Matthew (Miranda) Guth, Gaylen, Fiona and Aiden Clarkson-Farrell and Valerie Manzo; a great-niece, Erin Guth; a great-nephew, Max Guth; and many cousins and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Underwood Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. Rev. Fr. David A. Poliafico will officiate and burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
