Earl A. MacBlane

Earl Alexander MacBlane, age 33, of Marysville, died unexpectedly Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in Marysville. He was an associate of Donatos Pizza in Dublin. He also worked as a painter for Scarci & Son Painting and in auto sales. A 2004 graduate of Upper Arlington High School, he received a degree in criminal justice from ITT Technology. He enjoyed playing baseball, fishing and cherished his times with his two sweet daughters. He will be remembered for his athleticism and giving heart. He was born December 9, 1985 in Melrose Park, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Edith MacBlane and John and Sophie Szostek. He is survived by his daughters, Kaylee and Aubree; his parents, Earl and Patricia MacBlane of Upper Arlington; his sisters, Tara MacBlane of Upper Arlington and Denise (Ken) Baum of Rockford, Illinois; aunts and uncles, Nancy and Rick Scarci, Bill and Susan Szostek, Corrine Molinari and Robert (Mary Lou) Szostek; his nephews, Jayden, Mario, Jonathan, Michael and Caden; his niece, Aliceya; many cousins, including Anthony (Dewi) Scarci and their son, Ricky Scarci; and other relatives and close friends, including the mother of his children, Megan Mirick. The family will receive friends 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Underwood Funeral Home, 703 East Fifth Street, Marysville. A private interment will be held at Union Cemetery in Columbus. Memorial contributions may be given in Earl’s memory to his daughters’ college fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
