Always greeted me with a warm friendly smile and an offer to help find what I was in search of on my many visits to the Recorder's Office. In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. Be at peace.

I am so very sorry for the loss of Dorothy. She was such a wonderful lady. I worked with her in the Recorder's Office and she always had a smile. She was funny, helpful, generous, and kind. We would often talk about the Buckeyes. Many prayers for your family, she will be missed.

I always saw Dorothy at St John’s fall craft show when she was serving the delicious lunch for the attendees. I actually got to meet her at the Memorial Hospital’s Ladies Night Out when we sat at her and a friend’s table. She and her husband always ate breakfast at Der Dutchman and I enjoyed saying hi to her. She was a very sweet lady and sending prayers for her husband and family. God Bless.

May God grant the McCarty family strength, comfort and support during this time of sorrow. Dorothy and I were class mates at St John's Lutheran School and church for eight years. She was always a good student and friend. Enjoyed the days. This past year we communicated by phone several times about her disease and she was always very positive and stated that she believed in God and HE was directing her life. Whatever God's will she would accept and was ready. Dorothy was an excellent witness to our Triune GOD!!! by believe and service. We will not be able to attend the funeral but will watch on the internet. God' BLESSINGS to everyone.

Such a lovely, giving individual who was taken far too soon. Dorthy's beautiful spirit pervades St John's Lutheran Church through all her efforts to serve, help and comfort others. She will be missed as a fellow church member, neighbor and friend. Prayers to all her family as they carry on the legacy she leaves.

I am sorry for your loss. Dorothy was a great lady. My mom and her were best friends since childhood. Dorothy was a part of my life through my mom, Marge Myers. Her laugh was always so infectious. She was always someone who made me smile and always had a hug for me. I will keep you in my prayers during this difficult time.

I remember Dorothy as being friendly and willing to help in the Recorder's office. It was a pleasure to talk over the way it used to be in Milford Center. Dick Mickley
