This unexpected passing of my brother is going to change a lot of lives forever! I am so happy to read all the condolences from so many people that loved him. He will definitely never be forgotten. I loved my brother and treated his son, Layne as I would have treated my own son. I loved when they would visit us at Nana`s in Marysville because when Layne would take a bath, he would clean the whole shower and bathtub! Friends and family, please remember to park within the lines and be courteous to other drivers because Dan had the worst road rage you could imagine. I will miss him and think about him a lot. There will a lot of hard times, but I will try to stay positive and try not to be sad... Later

I was saddened to hear of your passing, Danny. And although it has been some time since we were in each other's lives, I will forever cherish the time we spent together. You made an impression on my heart, and you'll always be remembered with true affection. May your family find peace.

I worked with Dan at RC for the last three years. He was gruff but always willing to help solve problems. I loved when he brought Layne in with him. They always brought a smile to our faces. We will miss him. Rest In Peace, Dan

I don't know how to put into words how saddened we all are at Dan's passing. Dan worked for us for over 10 years and was part of us. Dan was a loud, gruff teddy bear. He loved Layne more than anything and he beamed every time he has a story about him or a new picture to show. He could always be depended on and was good at his job. Over the years, Dan forged many friendships at work which everyone will cherish. He was only in our lives for a brief time in the span of life but he was our own personal firecracker! Rest In Peace Dan- you will be missed.

Sending thoughts and prayers to Dan's family, especially sweet little Layne. We were coworkers at RC for at least 9 years. Dan was always full of life and laughter! He made me smile and laugh every time we talked. I loved when he brought Layne to work. Their relationship as father and son was truly priceless! Such a special bond between them. Please know that Dan will be greatly missed! He will always be forever in our hearts!

My deepest sympathy to Dan's family during this difficult time. At RC you didn't have to see Dan to know he was in the building and it was always nice to frequently see Layne with his Daddy. May he always carry thoughts of his Dad in his heart.

The news of your passing was quite a shock. You had a booming presence everywhere you went. Your son was most certainly your pride and joy. I'll miss this diet mountain dew drinking, politcal radio listening, video gaming, steeler loving, harley biking, funny, and smart computer nerd. Prayers for peace and strength for you and yours.

My Heart goes out to the family. I will remember all the fun times we had at the old Pizza Crossing. YOU were always witty and friendly Dan. So wish, I had known you had been back to Marysville, Oh. a short while back, to have spent some time catching up. You will not be forgotten. Prayers and Hugs go out to all the family from my family CB Hinch and Tim Hinch and myself.

To the Hughes family-my deepest sympathy is with you and your family at this sad time in life. Dan was a great friend to all. I also work at RC and Dan was my lifesaver many times over and over. It was always such a joy to see him and Layne together. He was always full of family stories when he would return from Columbus. I think I enjoy his firework stories the most because it made him smile in such a confusing way as to why Layne did not enjoy the fireworks. And that they would go and sit in the car to watch them. What an amazing daddy he was. All of our prayers and thoughts are with you.
