Clayton Bradford

September 29, 2022

Clayton H. Bradford, age 66, of Moore Haven, Florida, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, September 29, 2022. A 1975 graduate of Marysville High School, he was a former associate of O.M. Scott and Sons. He was co-Founder of the Logan County Classifieds, “home of the $1 ad,” where at the same time, he ran the printing operations out of the back of the building. A man of many talents and abilities he worked various jobs before realizing his dream of the open road and becoming a truck driver for many years where he made many of his lifelong friends. A true outdoorsman, he loved to fish and hunt, but farming was in his blood, so much so that he continued to work the land even after retirement. A people person, he always had a good story, joke, or wisdom to share. A kind soul, loved by most, his smile and kind words would brighten up anyone’s day. His phone was rarely silent with calls from family and friends wanting to chat, hang out, in need of wisdom, or even just to vent. He always made time. His love of the road extended itself to his family, always up for visiting with his children and grandkids all over the world. His love wasn’t just reserved for the people in his life but also encompassed his canine friends, Riley, Maddie, Zoey and Bobby. He was born April 16, 1956 and was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Bradford. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Bradford; his children, Josh Bradford, Anna (Shawn) Hyde, Traci (Ricky) Riley, Angelic (Tommy) Wilson, Kassi Hanlon and her fiancé Wade and Trae Parmer; his grandchildren, Cameron, Kaylyn, Ashley, Steffan, Deneshia, Tyrah, Beigh, Ashia and Tyrell; many great grandkids; his sister Charlotte; his brother, Calvin; a sister-in-law, Brenda; a brother-in-law, Randy; a brother-in-law, Allen (Mayet) Wolford; his mother-in-law, Mabel Wolford; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Underwood Funeral Home where the family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.underwoodfuneralhome.com.
