What a wonderful and caring woman Cindy was! We will remember her humbleness, kindness, gentleness and her love for our Lord. We certainly remember good times shared with her and her family. May God grant all her family his peace, love and comfort knowing Cindy is secure in His arms.

Will (Willie), Mae, Connie, Nancy, and extended family . . . we were saddened when we heard about the passing of dear Cindy! Always enjoyed running into her around town and oh how her face always brightened up when we would ask about Will . . . she was definitely his #1 fan! We thank God for her and for the many lives that she touched as a kindergarten teacher at St. John's. She planted many seeds in those little ones that she taught! We pray for strength for all of you as you hold firm to your faith and remember her forever in your hearts!

“'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.' 'Blessed indeed,' says the Spirit, 'that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!'” (Revelation 14:13) Thanks be to God for His faithfulness to Cindy in Christ, which bore the fruit of her faithful ministry to students of St. John's School, her beloved family, and countless others. I count it a privilege to have served alongside her for a few years, and gratefully witnessed her work in the lives of our own children. I believe many adults today who once were her students learned from Cindy to follow Jesus, who gave His life for ours so can we can give ours for Him in others. To all whose lives have been touched by God through Cindy: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God" (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). "Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds" (Psalm 36:5).

Cindy's love for children was only surpassed by her love for the Lord. Her selfless heart not only shined through all of her days at St. John's, but later in life as she sought to care for others. Hundreds and hundreds of young children and their families were shown the love of Jesus through Cindy. What a blessing to have her as a part of the ministry of St. John's Lutheran School. To Will and your family, Mae, Connie, Nancy and all, we offer our sincere sympathy, yet we celebrate God's faithful servant. God's peace and comfort to you in the days ahead.

We will remember Cindy as a lovely, gentle, caring person. She accomplished so much and yet was so humble. To her family remember God knew death would be difficult for those left behind so He gave us the blessings of memories. Cherish all memories until you meet again.

I was glad to know Cindy. She struck me as one of the most dedicated mothers I have known, supporting Willie in every endeavor. She demonstrated dedication to the Lord through teaching, working at churches and devotion to her mother. Rest In Peace, Cindy.
