Charlotte Jane Wheeler Beecher, age 94, of Marysville, formerly of Lima, died Friday, November 20, 2020 at Walnut Crossing Assisted Living. A homemaker, she enjoyed flowers gardening, playing euchre and vacationing in Tennessee and Georgia to spend time there with her relatives and family. A colorful storyteller about her childhood during the Great Depression, she was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Above all, a devout Christian and a member of Marysville Grace Brethren Church, she looked forward to being with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born May 3, 1926 in Petros, Tennessee to the late Bryan and Myrtle McDaniel Wheeler. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Beecher; and her siblings, Willette “Billie” Spees, Peggy Baker, Jim Wheeler, Sam Wheeler and Charles Wheeler. She is survived by three sons, Bryan (Joyce) Beecher of Lima, Jeff (Anna) Beecher of Statesboro, Georgia and Greg (Brenda) Beecher of Marysville; her grandchildren, Eric Beecher, April Lavery, Chad (Mandy) Beecher and Kyle Beecher; her great-grandchildren, Brandon, Ian and Bexley; two great-great-granddaughters, Cora and Kirra; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Underwood Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Shawnee Township Cemetery in Allen County. COVID precautions are required.
