Brandy Michele Burns Kise, age 31, of Unionville Center, died unexpectedly Tuesday, September 1, 2015. She was an administrative clerk for Carlisle Gifts/Der Dutchman in Plain City. A 2002 graduate of Fairbanks High School, she received an associate’s degree in early childhood development from Columbus State Community College. She was a former director at Jelly Bean Junction daycare center in Columbus and also worked as an assistant director at Lil Tykes Learning Childcare Center in Marysville. She was a member of New California Presbyterian Church. During her youth, she was active in Girl Scouts, FFA and 4-H. She was a past member of the Union County Junior Fair Board and a former 4-H counselor. She also taught first aid and CPR for the American Red Cross. She was a volunteer and supporter for her children’s softball and baseball league in Milford Center. She enjoyed arts and crafts and was known for her creativity and patience while inspiring youngsters. She was born February 12, 1984 in Columbus and was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, King Burns. She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Greg W. Kise, whom she married November 26, 2005; her children, Kadence and Kouper; her parents, George and Sandy Burns of Plain City; two sisters, Mindy (Nate) Ary of Ostrander and Abby (CJ Nichols) Burns of Marysville; her grandparents, Joan Burns of Milford Center and John and Barb Wilson of Plain City; her father-and mother-in-law, Neal and Tina Kise of Milford Center; her brother-in-law, Chris (Liza) Kise; her sister-in-law, Denicka (Sam) Gordon; her uncles and aunts, Roy (Missy) Burns, Ron Burns, Becky (Kevin) Wade, Brian Wilson and Randy Wilson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. The family will receive friends 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Underwood Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 12 noon Tuesday. Rev. Phil Bougher will officiate. Burial will be at Union Township Cemetery in Milford Center. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kise Children Education Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
