Alma Robinson Ebright Wise, 88, of Marysville, died Monday, April 16, 2012 at The Inn at Halcyon Village. She retired in 1988 from The Marysville Journal Tribune where she worked as a typesetter and proofreader in the composing department. She served as a WAVE in the United States Navy during World War II. She was a longtime member of Marysville Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Magnetic Springs High School. She was born August 8, 1923 in Highland, West Virginia to the late Marshall and Ora Martin Robinson and was also predeceased in 1975 by her first husband, Albert Maurice Ebright; in 2010, by her second husband, SCPO Daniel B. Wise, Navy (Ret.); a brother, Elmer Robinson and three sisters, Wilda McQuistin, Vonda Hunt and Zelma Fern Yoder. She is survived by her children, Donald (Sue) Ebright of Farmington Hills, Michigan, Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Ebright of San Diego and Patricia (Steven) Kretzer of Dublin; 4 grandchildren, Kristine Ebright and Maria Ebright, both of California, Joshua Kretzer of Dublin, Jonathan (Chrissy) Kretzer of Hilliard; 2 step grandchildren Lindsey Taylor-Wise and Isaac Taylor-Wise, both of New Mexico; a great granddaughter, Amelia Kretzer; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Marysville Church of Christ where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Tim Nowlin will officiate and burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery. Calling hours will also be held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church.
