Judith Cassady, 71, of Marysville, died unexpectedly Friday, November 25, 2011 at her home. A registered nurse, she worked in administration for a Columbus nursing home. She was also a former flight attendant with American Airlines. A devout Christian, she was associated with the Vineyard Church. She enjoyed dancing and collecting Pekingese figurines and adored her dog, Willie. She was born November 30, 1939 and was predeceased by her parents who died when she was a young child, her aunt and uncle who raised her, and her husband, Samuel S. Cassady. She is survived by her sister, Greta McCoy; her niece and nephews, Marcia, John and Dwaine McCoy, all of Orient; and her granddaughter, Christine Beck and her grandson, Patrick Mead, both of Marysville. At her request, following cremation, her ashes will be scattered in the Gulf of Mexico. Underwood Funeral Home assisted the family.
