    ‘Doodles’,

Due to a doctor’s appointment, I don’t know whether I’ll be able to attend either calling hours or the funeral. Nevertheless, please know that my thoughts and prayers are both with you during this difficult time. I wish both ‘you and yours’ the comfort of many happy memories!

    Sincerely,

    Dear Aunt Bette,
Today’s Gospel reading at Mass is truly a message of comfort in the time of loss of a loved one who has suffered with illness.

    Mt 11:28-30 Jesus said:
“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.
“Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.”
Love and prayers, Peggy Pfarr Stein
